Sista Bakes is an exciting new baking business, jointly run by Sheffield sisters Sarah and Millie.
In early 2020, born simply from a passion for baking (and eating) cake, the idea of Sista Bakes slowly but surely became a reality.
As with the creation of all millennial-run businesses, Millie launched an Instagram page showcasing her homemade sweet treats and established a small following of loyal and supportive customers.
The business grew from there largely through Instagram and word of mouth. Sista Bakes is now a shared venture with Sarah and Millie both on board.

Millie's in charge of our socials and is our principal cookie, brownie and blondie baker.
Millie's day job is as a qualified Gymnastics Coach, teaching kiddies to flip, jump and tumble. Her passion for coaching is second only to her passion for brownies.
Fun fact: Millie has an unfounded fear of the ocean and subsequently cannot bring herself to watch the likes of David Attenborough's Blue Planet.
Outside of the kitchen Millie can be found in the gym (she's stronger than she looks!) or painting nails - she does a fabulous gel set!

A Baker by trade, Sarah somehow managed to escape the worst of the pandemic by jetting off to Australia following uni. After travelling and working on a banana farm, (an obligation of the Australian Department of Immigration to obtain second year visa - NEVER AGAIN) Sarah eventually settled in the Northern Beaches of Sydney working as a Nanny and part-time in a wholesale bakery.
Sarah loves peanut butter (crunchy, always!), netball and penguins.
