Our Story...
Sista Bakes is an exciting new baking business, jointly run by Sheffield sisters Sarah and Millie.
In early 2020, created simply from a passion for baking (and eating) cake, the idea of Sista Bakes slowly but surely became a reality.
As with the creation of all Gen Z-run businesses, Millie launched an Instagram page showcasing her homemade sweet treats and established a small following of loyal and supportive customers.
The business grew from there largely through Instagram and word of mouth. Sista Bakes is now a shared venture with Sarah and Millie both baking and content creating.

Millie helps out with our socials and is always there to lend a hand on market day! She is an SEN Teaching Assistant and is a fully qualified gymnastics coach, which occupies her spare time when she's not in the classroom. Her passion for coaching is second only to her passion for brownies.
Outside of the kitchen Millie can also be found painting nails - she does a fabulous gel set! And walking Rocky the dog.

I'm the resident cake decorator and website creator.
Eventually returning to the UK after a couple of years travelling, I decided to pursue bakery as a career and have run Sista Bakes alongside working in artisan bakery ever since.
Outside of baking, I love netball and have recently discovered gardening and am working on growing more edible flowers for cake decoration.
